To be able to have a positive influence on young people in my community is incredibly rewarding, and is why I volunteer.

I truly believe educating a young person can impact their decision to carry a knife and therefore reduce the violence we are currently seeing.

StreetDoctors advocates for viewing violence as a public health issue and adopting a holistic approach to working with young people. This starts with listening to them.
