StreetDoctors’ The Fatal Question campaign film has received two awards at the Smiley Charity Film Awards, recognising its impact in raising awareness of the consequences of street violence.
The Fatal Question was named Grand Prix Film of the Year and received a People’s Choice Bronze Award at the Smiley Charity Film Awards.
The film challenges the dangerous misconception that someone can be stabbed without causing serious or fatal harm, helping young people understand the real and irreversible consequences of knife violence.
The Fatal Question forms part of StreetDoctors’ wider work to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions, protect themselves and others, and understand the consequences of street violence.
The People’s Choice award was supported by members of the public who voted for the film and shared the campaign, helping its message reach more people and encouraging important conversations around knife violence.
